This creative arts group is for children and youth ages 7 -18 in foster care and their resource families\, including kinship\, or no n-relative family member care providers. The group is designed for the who le family to participate\, including siblings ages 7 and older. \n\nCome g et creative together- playing improvisational games\, making family art\, exploring movement and music\, and more! This is a great way to have fun t ogether in a structured\, low pressure environment sensitive to the unique needs of your special families. Build great memories\, explore new ways t o communicate positively and effectively\, and create new connections!
\n\nYou'll also learn and practice simple\, powerful mind-body skills that help relieve stress and heal the effects of trauma. These techniques\ , along with the toolbox of fun activities you'll discover\, can help crea te positive changes as families continue to enjoy them at home together.\n\n
Please note: Dinner will be provided. Onsite childcare is availab le* for children too young to participate. (*Space is limited\, and is ava ilable on a first come\, first served basis in order of registration).
